Beacon is a simple device that costs only a few thousand yen and transmits radio signals unilaterally. This has been reviewed as a tool for Indoor positioning in line with GPS, and it is now attracting attention as the basic technology of IoT (Internet of Things).

Our EXBeacon is the next-generation beacon, with mesh network functionality. This is a groundbreaking discovery, since the beacons can now intercommunicate, unlike the conventional type which unidirectionally transmitted radio signals. These inexpensive beacon devices can form a network. Not only has the management operation and remote control of the beacons become easy, but also the network formed is applied to communication between objects, as such the application has expanded dramatically.

Beacon usage has just started. Its applications in various fields are yet to come. Definitely, together we can solve your problems with EXBeacon.

Three basic methods of application

1.User’s receive signals their smartphones

When the user approaches the vicinity of a beacon, the smartphone app receives signals from the beacon and sends inquiry to a dedicated server. So information such as location and product information associated with the beacon can be collected and displayed on the app.

2.Environmental Data Collection

By Combining sensor and beacon, environmental data such as temperature humidity and congestion situation can be shared and managed throughout the entire network.

3.Mobile object detection system

3-1) User sends out signal via beacon

Signals from a beacon embedded in user’s helmet or entry card enable us to obtain the uesr’s location and profile information.

3-2) The user becomes part of the mesh network

The beacon carried by a user becomes part of the beacon mesh network, as such we can figure out a more accurate position and movement of the user.

Advanced cases

Construction site completion management system

As part of the management of the interior work at a skyscraper construction site, a Beacon was placed in each room to manage room-specific construction information between on-site (iPad) and remote (PC) clients.
